Redskins vs. Giants: The Great, The Good, and the Not-So-Good

The Great
- Gaffney continues to emerge as perhaps the top Redskins receiver, this time hauling in 6 receptions for 86 yards (Gaffney leads the team with 842 receiving yards)
- London Fletcher continues his run as a tackle machine, notching 10 tackles and 2 assists along with a forced fumble
- Sacks from both Kerrigan and Orakpo, perhaps the best pass-rushing linebacker tandem in football

The Good
- Stability in the kicking game after some unstable patches earlier in the season: Graham Gano goes 3/3 on field goals and 2/2 on extra points
- Rex Grossman plays well enough, distributing the ball to six receivers, and throwing two long interceptions that were the equivalent of punts
- Solid running game: Helu, Royster, and Young shared the load, didn't break any big runs, but controlled the ball for 103 yards on 37 carries (1 TD and 0 fumbles)
- A patchwork offensive line doesn't create much running room but protects Grossman well

The Not-So-Good
- Brandon Banks continues to be a waste of a roster spot: this time he has a fumble and loss of 2 yards on a punt return, and a pedestrian 20 yards on a kickoff return
