Redskins vs. Dolphins: The Great, the Good, and the Not-So-Good

Skins drop their 5th straight and have little hope of salvaging the season. Yet, if you're looking for a bright-side, there are a few talented rookies providing glimmers of long-term hope:

The Great
- rookie Ryan Kerrigan remains a playmaker, producing two sacks and two forced fumbles
- rookie and fast-rising prospect Leonard Hankerson has 8 receptions for 106 yards

The Good
- rookie Roy Helu continues his development with some nice runs (averaging 7 yards per carry) and three receptions
- defense holds its own and produces turnovers despite no help from the offense

The Not-So-Good
- Rex Grossman plays like we expected
- Graham Gano makes from 23, 26, and 47, but misses from 49 and 50
- London Fletcher is again caught on film looking unimpressive in pass coverage
- Ryan Torrain can't get things going, averaging 2 yards per carry
- Brandon Banks, who holds a roster spot for the sole purpose of producing big kick returns, does nothing again

  1. What I would say to Allen and Shanahan if I were Mr. Snyder: Either finish near .500 or better in 2012 or you're fired.
